With two manufacturing facilities on Vancouver Island, BC, Macon is equipped to build dependable mining machines and support operators from first concept through delivery, commissioning, and long-term service. For northern operators, our Dawson City parts location provides local access to stocked parts during critical operating windows.
Being a Canadian manufacturer means your equipment is backed by an in-house team skilled in trades. We don't rush or mass produce our products. We custom-tailor each one to your terrain and your conditions so they perform under pressure. Whether you're remote or overseas, we have the capabilities to deliver.
From Vancouver Island to the world.
ONE CONNECTED TEAM BEHIND YOUR BUILD.
Macon's in-house design, fabrication, assembly, logistics, and support teams work together across our Vancouver Island facilities to take your concept from first idea to field-ready system. With every major stage working together, we can build mining machines around your site conditions, production goals, transport requirements, and long-term support needs.
R&D and Design
Using SolidWorks and 3D CAD modelling, we plan mining equipment around your site, material, production goals, transport needs, and service access. This gives your team a clearer view of the system before production begins.
Fabrication & Welding
Our certified fabricators and welders build the structural foundation of each system in-house. With CWB 47.1 and CWB 186 certified fabricators, we maintain stronger control over fit, finish, quality, and custom modifications.
Machining & Processing
With in-house equipment including laser and plasma tables, CNC machines, a boring machine, welders, and a press, we can support custom parts, production details, and build adjustments with greater control.
Electrical & Technical Assembly
Our team brings mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components together so each system moves from fabricated structure to field-ready equipment with the right details in place.
Industrial Coatings
Before equipment leaves the shop, industrial coatings help protect the finished build for wet, abrasive, and high-wear mining environments while reinforcing the quality of the work underneath.
Logistics
Large mining equipment needs a plan to get from our facility to your site. We coordinate with carriers to ship systems across Canada, into the United States, and overseas with equipment size, access, and timelines in mind.
Commissioning & Long-Term Support
Macon stays involved after delivery with commissioning, troubleshooting, parts, and long-term service. You are supported by people who understand how your system was designed, built, and intended to perform.
