As the founder and President of Macon Industries, Matt Conley has been at the center of the company’s growth from the beginning. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, Matt brings a strong understanding of business, product design, customer relationships, and what it takes to build equipment that performs in the field.
Although Macon has grown into a larger manufacturing group, Matt remains closely involved in all aspects of the company. He continues to build relationships with customers, collaborate on new product development, support the team, and help guide the direction of the business.
Matt is known for his attention to detail, practical approach to design, and commitment to raising up strong talent within the company. He works closely with the people around him and believes that Macon’s success is built through quality work, strong relationships, and continuous improvement. His leadership continues to drive Macon forward while keeping the company grounded in the same principles it started with.

Ben Marks is the Outsource Manager at Macon Industries and has been part of the company since the beginning. With a welding and fabrication career that began in 2001, Ben brings a strong background in heavy equipment repairs, structural steel, aluminum fabrication, and general fabrication.
Over the years, Ben has played an instrumental role in helping Macon maintain its quality standards and develop key processes across the fabrication and manufacturing side of the business. He works closely with local companies, supports outside supplier relationships, and helps ensure organization and consistency throughout Macon’s facilities.
Ben is known for his attention to detail and high standards. His commitment to quality means that no product, feature, or fabrication detail is overlooked. That level of care helps Macon continue building equipment that is practical, reliable, and ready to support customers in the field.
His work continues to play an important role in the strength of Macon’s fabrication process and the equipment the company delivers.

Brittany Neden is the Operations Coordinator at Macon Industries and plays an important role in keeping projects, people, and production moving efficiently.
With a background in purchasing and logistics, Brittany brings a practical understanding of how each stage of a project needs to come together. She works closely with Macon’s General Manager, project coordinators, foremen, assembly team, sales team, and parts department to help support the flow of work from customer requirements through to production, delivery, and after-sales support.
Brittany manages Macon’s project coordination team and helps ensure the shop has the information, communication, and organization needed to keep projects moving forward. Her experience at Macon gives her a strong understanding of the company’s equipment, internal processes, and customer needs, allowing her to support both the team and the client experience.
She also works closely with the operations coordinators at Macon Fabrication and TactEx to help keep teams aligned across the broader business. Her ability to collaborate across departments helps strengthen communication, improve coordination, and support a more consistent customer experience.

With a background in mechanical design, Steve brings a practical and technical understanding of how equipment needs to be designed, built, assembled, and supported in the field. He plays an important role in both new product development and production support, helping ensure Macon’s design team can keep projects moving while continuing to improve and develop the company’s product offering.
From new equipment concepts and custom designs to redlines, production updates, and continuous improvements, his work helps connect the early vision of a project to the final product built in the shop.
Known for his calm problem-solving and steady approach, Steve helps maintain production flow by organizing the strengths of his team, supporting collaboration, and streamlining design processes. He works closely with leadership, operations, sales, and the shop to ensure designs are not only technically sound, but practical to manufacture and use.
Through his technical knowledge, organization, and team-focused approach, he continues to play a key role in helping Macon build equipment that is thoughtful, practical, and ready to perform.
